The College of Midwives of Alberta is the governing and regulatory body that oversees the registration and practice of midwifery throughout the province of Alberta.
The impact of COVID-19 continues to be felt by our community. Through this important time, we kindly ask that our registrants, guests, suppliers and contractors follow provincial health service recommendations to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of our staff, members and the public.
The CMA is working closely with Alberta Health, Alberta Health Services, as well as with Alberta Association of Midwives, to provide the latest information to our members and to the public. We continue to monitor reports and recommendations from all health authorities and relevant sources.

The CMA is committed to protecting both our clients and members in the best possible way. We would like to thank registered midwives for supporting their clients in this challenging time. Your effort and commitment to ensure a safe practice to clients do not go unnoticed.
